Builder and Business Owner

A builder with over 30 years of experience, Gavin Hawke is co-owner of Changing Spaces and the person who quotes all our projects.

Gavin started his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker before moving into carpentry, gaining his full building licence and in 2004 establishing Changing Spaces.

His insight and skill in identifying the potential possibilities as well as potential problems on a project are invaluable for our clients and key to delivering positive and successful outcomes.

Gavin relishes taking on even the most complex and challenging jobs and delivering quality space solutions, which are specifically tailored to suit the client’s lifestyle, workstyle and brief.


Business Manager, Interior Designer and Business Owner

Jo Hawke is a qualified interior designer and while her current role is primarily to handle the company management tasks, her talents are utilised for many of our clients.

With a natural flair for design, matched with an appreciation of current interior style trends, Jo’s input and advice, especially on custom design jobs, is much valued by our clients.


Office Manager and Client Communications

Ashleigh Hawke holds the key role of communicating with our clients as well as coordinating our on-site teams. Ashleigh has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of our processes and is ideally positioned to handle your requests, answer your questions and understand your needs.

Her expertise and commitment are focussed on a streamlined building process and creating a stress-free experience for you.
